Who is behind StraightAcre?

StraightAcre is led by Daniel Michael Newland. He signs off on every written parcel review, and every purchase or assignment is disclosed in writing and closed through a licensed title or escrow company in the state where the property is located.
If you own land you want to sell, the part of the job that matters to you is what we check, what we tell you, and what we put in writing. His background is in enterprise systems and process implementation, which is why each review lays out the records, the open questions and the next step in plain language.
Who does what?
- Founder: sets our standards for disclosure and sign-off, and reviews and signs off on every written parcel review.
- Parcel research: our team gathers the public records and prepares the review.
- Closing: a licensed title or escrow company in the property’s state handles the closing statement, signatures, funds and recording.

How do we operate?
- The structure of every sale is in writing before you sign, including whether the contract may be assigned. See how we buy.
- Every closing runs through a licensed title or escrow company.
- A review states what it found and what remains unknown.
- We do not use pressure tactics, fabricated urgency, or inflated numbers. If a sale is not the right move for you, we tell you directly.
- In Illinois and Rhode Island we make direct purchases only, unless a licensed broker is involved.
How can you verify us?
